The Healing Place Charity Championship

This annual golf tournament, hosted by Florence native and PGA TOUR standout Stewart Cink, was played on Monday, June 6th, 2011 at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Killen, AL.  As in previous years, participants competed in a traditional "Pro-Am" style format.  The popular Pairings Party and Auction took place on Sunday, June 5th at Turtle Point.  Next year's date is set for Monday, June 4th, 2012 so please mark your calendars.

Over the past 9 years, The Healing Place Charity Championship has raised over $1,000,000 for The Healing Place and its programs.  The Healing Place is a non-profit facility located in Muscle Shoals, AL that provides on-going education and support programs for grieving children, adolescents and their families/caregivers.  The Healing Place's mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one and offers its services to the community free of charge.
